        Treasured by the Philippines
      For he is brave and smart
He defended us from the colonizers
With his literary art

In times of grave danger
He stood out among the crowd
To us, of course, he is no stranger
For he made us safe and sound

His Love and passion for our freedom
Inspire us all to fight

No one could have greater wisdom
For he made our ways for light
He is a talented person that we never
compare to any one

He sacrifice his own life for us for our freedom
Hi sacrifices will never be forgotten
Nor will never be wasted
With nothing but his paper and pen.

He is my hero and my inspiration
He inspires all of the people
He is the reason why we are free now
I salute him

Even if million or miles away
He still alive in the mind and heart of people
Again i salute you Pepe.

Light in the Dark

                            Bang! Bang! Bang!                                           In the middle of war,
                             the sound of gun                                                  there's a person
                              that's the sound                                              who stands confidently
                             when you entered                                         trying to save our country
                                   this town
                 
                        A town that is full of happiness                               A man without sword,
                          but now full of sadness                                        A man without gun,
                           All things are rained                                       but he faced the colonizers
                         because of greed colonizer's                                Though his paper and pen
                     
                             Many Filipino sacrifice                                       Even though it will cause
                                   them selves                                                          his death;
                             just to get the freedom                                         he doesn't hesitate
                              that everyone needs                                            to continue his doing
               
                          Heart that is full of anger                                                 And at last
                         Eyes that are full of tears                                           there is a light growing
                         When will be the ending                                            in the middle of the dark
                         of this tragic Suffering?

 Shooting, Slaughter,Clamoring, Crying,
that you will hear when you enter their  country

All the people are scared of what will happen for to life.
By slavery that they suffered, caused by the Spaniards.

There's a person that start to fight against
Spaniards to catch up on our freedom.
The person who believe in our abilities.

Someone who is willing to lay his life for the people to live.
Someone who save's another living creature
on this wonderful planet of ours.

He served the best he can, Even until his grave.
He is that type of guy he made us believe.

He dared to write about the storms over our seas.
He is only a man who loves and fights for what is right.

He is the hero that we need,
 the hero that has fulfilled our dreams,
 All for his love for you and me.

Ang Uwak at Ang Butiki

                            

                               Ang Uwak  at Ang Butiki

                    Noong unang panahon, matalik na magkaibigan sina Uwak  at Butiki. Lagi silang magkasama at naglalaro. Isang araw, naisipan ni Butiki  na kulayan nila ang kanilang katawan. Naunang nagpinta Uwak sa katawan ni Butiki. Makalipas ang ilang oras, isang maganda at makulay na ang katawan ni Butiki . Ngayon, si Uwak naman ang pipintahan ni Butik. "Uwak pikit ka muna para hindi mo makita kung paano ko pagandahin ang katawan mo"ani Butiki. Pumikit namn si Uwak . Bigla itong binuhusan ng itim na pintura ni Butiki.
     Mula noon, nagalit si Uwak kaya'y panay ang tago ni Butiki at naputol ang kanilang pagkakaibigan. At iyon ang dahilan kung bakit maganda at makulay ang balat ng Butiki at purong itim ang kulay ng Uwak.
